BHP Creekside Bloom LLC was launched in 2021. What began with just a few carefully tended bee colonies, soon blossomed into widespread beehive placement in the charming mint city of St. Johns, Michigan. Beyond that, we are proud to also maintain hives in the stunning and picturesque upper peninsula. We deeply believe that happy and healthy bees are not only essential for producing the most delicious, high-quality honey, but they also play a vital role in pollinating our gardens and orchard, leading to an abundance of fresh herbs, ripe fruits, and wholesome, vibrant veggies.

Hives for Hire
WE PROVIDE
We specialize in the strategic placement and year-round maintenance of robust, healthy honey bee colonies in St. Johns, Michigan, known as the "Mint City." Each hive we provide is meticulously prepared, featuring a queen bee, thousands of thriving worker bees, one deep brood box, one medium brood box, and an additional medium honey super for optimal honey production.
The ideal season for hive placement typically begins in early May. Under the expertise of Beekeeper Jim, the hives are carefully inspected on a weekly or monthly basis, depending on seasonal requirements. By the following spring, you will receive a share of the surplus honey, ensuring a delightful and sustainable supply for the year ahead.
YOU PROVIDE
A safe and secure location for the beehive, completely free from any disturbances, along with convenient access to a reliable water source, is essential.
Proper vegetation and flowering plants in the vicinity of the beehive play a crucial role in supporting the bees' health and productivity. Varieties of nectar-rich flowers not only provide the bees with essential nourishment but also contribute to better pollination. Ensuring a diverse range of plants will help maintain a thriving and sustainable environment for your bees.
